Pick the right site. Match your topic to what the blog already publishes. Read three recent posts before you pitch.
Read the guidelines page. Most editors reject pitches that ignore word count, image or link rules.
Pitch before you write. Send 2–3 specific headline ideas with a one-line angle and why you are the right person to write it.
Write from experience. Real examples, screenshots and numbers from your own work beat generic advice. Most sites now reject unedited AI drafts.
Keep links useful. Link to sources that help the reader. Editors remove links that feel forced.
Follow up once. If there is no reply in 7–10 days, send one polite follow-up, then move on.

We removed sites whose guidelines page no longer loads, now redirects to a homepage or blog, or says they have stopped taking guest posts. Some well-known sites block automated checks, so we left them out until we can confirm them by hand. If you know a site has reopened to contributors, tell us and we will check it.
